I just finished reading Hope's Captive for the SECOND TIME. I love it! I couldn't put it down and have been reading every moment for the last week! I look forward to reading Time's Captive in the near future.

I bought Hope's Captive last night based on a recommendation from Wendy Crutcher at The Romance Reader. I picked the book up this morning and didn't put it down until finishing it a few minutes ago...what an amazing story! I was wary of it, to tell the truth, after reading the description of what Caroline lived through, but I'm so glad I picked it up and gave it a chance! You can be sure I will be looking for your previous books and looking forward to your new ones...good luck!

I just finished reading Hope's Captive. It is wonderful and really hard to put down. I love historical western romances [especially] anything having to do with Indians. I have read Time's Captive which I also enjoyed very much. I hope to read more of your books in the future.

Kate Lyon's writing has to be an inspiration to all new authors. With hard work and determination we can all see the wonderful results. Hey! This would make a fantastic movie or mini series for HBO come on movie producers. This is a sure winner.

Like so many others who have raved about Time's Captive, I loved this book. The blend of modern, history, time travel, and excellent writing is the best I've ever read!!! I'm not sure how many fan letters you've received from Austinites, but I had to write to thank you for capturing Barton Springs, one of the most special places in my hometown. Your book touched me on so many levels. Austin--Barton Springs--Palo Duro Canyon--Oklahoma Indians--then and now. Living in Oklahoma certainly gives a different perspective on Indian matters, and I applaud you on your sensitivity. Thank you---thank you--thank you, for one of the best books I've ever read.

Loved this book! I started reading it yesterday and almost stayed up all night, got up early and finished it…and I want to read it again right now. To me the true measure of a great book is how much you hate that it’s over and how much you miss the people who’s lives you have created. I hope there is more to come like TIME'S CAPTIVE. Thanks for this gift!
